“Reinventing Civilization is a tall order. So is starting the 2nd industrial revolution… Why not us? Why not you and us? It’s the greatest play-to-win game of all time.”
– Ray Anderson
If you’ve been inspired by the story told in Beyond Zero and you want to take action to create the future we know is possible, then there are three things we’d like you to consider:
#1 – Change your world.
In order to change the world, start by changing your world. Have a look at the incredible resources Paul Hawken and his team have assembled at Project Regeneration. They’ve done all of the heavy lifting to help us focus on the things we can do that will have the most impact.
#2 – Get trained to lead the change.
If you ask Erin Meezan, the former Chief Sustainability Officer at Interface, why there are not more companies like Interface out there, she’ll tell you that its because most people misunderstand how to lead change effectively. Then she’ll point you to the work of Leith Sharp, whose course on effective change leadership has been a very powerful part of Harvard’s executive education program for years.
Sign up to take her training through Harvard, or shoot her a note on LinkedIn to get your name on the waiting list for the newest version of her course which is expected to open for registration this summer…
3 – Get in the game.
Beyond Zero Writer / Director Nathan Havey is playing the Best World Game. It’s a game to create the best world. You probably already know how to play, so join the fun!
